Niykee is a song-writer who, despite her recent hectic career, has kept her routine. Some of her personal highlights included her being picked by Snoop dogg to become his private assistant at the YouTube Brandcast event in May 2013. Now a magnet for up-and-coming producers she constantly combs through beats she receives and discovers that a lot of them end up sparking song ideas. She says that she can tell if the beat is great in only 5 seconds. After that, a fresh song will pop into her brain. My guitar is set up on the back porch and I let the words flow. It's usually done within 30 minutes. As she continues develop her skills as a lyricist, Niykee explains that her pain from the experiences in the past is a constant source of ideas. She says that even when she's not composing about the things which were actually taking place every ache due to her childhood and the grief over the loss of her daughter find its way into music. This influences my music and adds more profund significance. For me, this is the key to succeeding.
