Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The shadows she saw on the lawn inspired her to work for months on the technique that, does not, however, paint the selected object onto canvas. The subject has been transformed into its own reproduction which is based on the artist's interpretation. It is most effective when dealing with living objects or objects that can be perishable such as fruits or people. Alexa Meade's work is ephemeral and the image is what is left. The painting and photography techniques are tightly coordinated, resulting in a two-dimensional, flat space which achieves trompe-l'oeil. Only certain parts of the image like hair and eyes, display the three-dimensional dimension. Meade has also integrated her models painted by Meade into the space of 3D that surrounds the models. Their interaction and this created world is conceivable. The result is a blurring of the lines between painting, photography and installation.
