Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.), was considered as one of the top athletes in sports. Biles was born at home in Spring Texas, in the Houston metro area. Biles and her sister Adria had been adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone was first drawn to the sport of gymnastics when she was only six years old. Her coach Aimee Borman brought her to Bannon's Gymnastix and they took them to an outing. Biles earned a silver in vault in 2010 and a bronze medal at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. Biles then advanced to the level of elite competition in the year 2011. Biles was a dominant athlete less than two year later. Biles stood out for her consistently high performance and exuberant persona, and the difficult routines she performed across the four events she competed in: vault, bars with uneven surfaces and balance beam.
